Technical FAQS

How can I get access to Robin View?

Set up a local user account by opening the following link: https://www.robinz.uzh.ch/static/pwa/protected/all-patients.

Robin View is a web application with a local profile. This means that the profile is limited to the person using the respective PC. When switching to a new PC, a new profile must be created and the previous data re-imported.

How does Robin View work?

1.    Open Robin View and log in
2.    Create a new patient or upload new data for existing patients
3.    Drag and drop the exported files from Robin Z (in the email) to the respective patients
4.    Enter the decryption password (generated by the patient)
5.    The graphical data from Robin Z will then appear

What are the system requirements for Robin View?

Windows or MacOS operating system.
In order for the young person to send you his data he must have Robin Z App version 2.2.0 (or higher) installed.

How is the Robin View software protected from third party access?

The Robin View application is password protected (code with at least 6 characters). You have to log in for each use.

All data is protected by the operating system from access by other software. Robin View does not send data to the Internet and does not store data outside its directory.

Patients send their data encrypted via the app Robin Z. Afterwards they receive an email from technicrobin@kjpd.uzh.ch with the encrypted data. This encrypted data can then be decrypted and displayed graphically with Robin View.  Decryption of this data without the Robin View program is not possible. The decryption of the data is further only possible with the respective password of the patient. In order to ensure data protection, passwords should only be passed on verbally, not via email.

Is Robin View free?

Robin View is provided free of charge.

Rather than paying, we recommend making a voluntary donation to the OPSY association. The association supports children and young people with mental health issues, enabling them to fulfil small wishes that improve their lives.   You can find more information here: https://www.opsy.ch/.
